South Park celebrates it’s 20th season with new logo and video at Comic-Con

Emmy – and Peabody-winning series South Park kicked off a celebration of its 20th season this past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con with the unveiling of a new logo (see above) and a video look-back at the series.

South Park Digital Studios along with Comedy Central, will be honouring the iconic animated series over the next few months with specialised events on-air, online and on the ground. Events include a travelling art exhibit curated by pop culture artist Ron English – which will visit select locations around the United States.

Also included will be the launch of a redesigned South Park app and all-new Avatar Creator; the release f Ubisoft’s new video game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole; the South Park 20 Experience which is set to feature 20 iconic 2D/3D moments from the hit adult series.

Comedy Central will also be launching a multi-tiered, multimedia marketing campaign to commemorate the show’s 20th season. This is set to roll out over the next few months.
