Game of Thrones season 4 is to premier at the same time in both USA and UK.

The constant struggle that UK fans with US shows is the wait for it to reach UK screens, sometimes days after US showings.

This often leads to unwanted spoilers and low quality streaming online just to get your fix.

But news has been released that the first episode of season four Game of Thrones will be shown at the same time here in the UK as it is in the US.

It will be shown at 9pm EST time in the US on Sunday 6th of April, meaning it will be shown 2am on Monday the 7th of April here in the UK on Sky Atlantic.

If you fall asleep sat up waiting for the new episode to air, don’t worry. The episode will be reshown at it’s usual time of 9pm on Monday evening.

There have been many trailers released recently, each giving fans a little bit more of what to expect in the upcoming season.

This includes new characters such as Oberyn Martell, played by Pedro Pascal.

The trailers have also been giving us that usual feel of doom and revenge the series is filled with, with each trailer carrying the tagline Valar Morghulis, meaning All Men Must Die.

There are already reviews online about the first episode of the new season and without giving anything away in regards to the plot, critics agree that there is ‘some of the most brutal action yet’ and that fans of Games of Thrones are certainly in for a treat if this episode is anything to go by for the rest of the season.

Catch the first episode of Game of Thrones season 4 on Sky Atlantic 7th of April at 2am and then later again at 9pm.
