With the ink barely dry on the draft scrift for Tarantino’s upcoming Django Unleashed, the rumours are already circling as to who the Reservoir Dogs director will cast in the film.
The word from Hollywood is that Quentin already had the Fresh Prince in mind when writing the script. The Pulp Fiction mastermind has often talked about having a particular actor in mind when writing dialogue.
The $20 million-a-film superstar has reportedly been offered the lead role, which would see him take on another Western, but hopefully with more success than his ill-fated Wild Wild West project back in 1999.
Samuel L. Jackson is also rumoured to be reuniting with Tarantino on the project. He is up for the role of a house slave who goes toe to toe with Django.
Let us know what you think about the news, will Big Willie and Quentin be a match made in heaven or leave tumbleweeds blowing around the cinema?
Django Unleashed will be released in 2012
