Police have arrested four men after Twilight hunk Bronson Pelletier was punched in the head at a fans’ convention in Birmingham.
Pelletier, 24, who plays werewolf Jared in the Vampire love saga, is believed to have suffered a broken nose as he was assaulted in the toilets at Eternal Twilight 4.
Sources at the hotel say the Canadian actor was grabbed from behind, hit over the head and then held in a headlock before he managed to wrestle free.
The attackers are believed to have been attending a wedding reception at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, near the NEC, where more than 1,000 Twilight fans in fancy dress where holding a convention.
He was talked into not returning to confront the men and left it to conference organisers, one of which was headbutted before hotel security stepped in.

A fan who attended the bash said: “Bronson was really angry and upset. He wanted a few of the others to go back and sort it out with him.
“The men were really common and skanky. They were so drunk, they probably didn’t know who they were kicking off on.
“The convention was full of teenage girls so no one expected trouble.”
Police have said that two men were released and two bailed in connection with the attack.
