Directed by Danny Boyle, the trailer features Renton’s famous ‘choose life’ speech. This time putting a spin on the original speech, Boyle adds a reflection of modern society into it – “Facebook”, “Instagram” and “zero-hour contracts”.

The trailer features heavily on Renton’s use of Heroin as he reignites his old tricks and nudity is not amiss either.

The soundtrack for the trailer includes Wolf Alice’s ‘Silk’, alongside Underworld’s classic tune, ‘Born Slippy’.
