Fans looking forward to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug have been treated to a deluge of teasers over the past few days, ranging from new footage, trailers and posters.
CNN reporter Anderson Cooper hosted a live Q&A event that featured a variety of famous names linked with the movie from various locations around the globe. Director Peter Jackson joined from Wellington New Zealand, as well as Andy Serkis, among others. But, only Orlando Bloom and Richard Armitage appeared in person.
During the event, fans were treated to an exclusive 20 minute snippet of never before seen footage from the movie, as well as a video for the ending song “I See Fire”.
The sneak peek trailer features battles with spiders, elves, orcs, dwarves and, of course, the one ring. It suggests that the next installment of the LOTR prequel will be more action packed than the first, which seemed to plod along simply telling a story.
The poster (which can be seen in the gallery) showcases Gandalf surrounded by elves, Bilbo, Thorin and Bard the Bowman, who is set to play a major role in the movie.
This is going to be our final installment of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug teasers before the movies release on December 13.
