Christopher Nolan has answered the flapping questions of fans circling in wait of his final Batman movie with a Youtube posting of The Dark Knight Rises trailer.
The film sees Batman living with his new status as a wanted vigilante and he must now face two new enemies: Bane and Catwoman.
The trailer begins with Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) saying, “There’s a storm coming…” That storm is called Bane, (Tom Hardy).
Hardy looks menacing and sinister as Bane wreaking havoc on Gotham city and this time even Batman (Christian Bale) seems helpless.
Dialogue between the two, we hear Bruce Wayne asking Bane: “Why don’t you just kill me?”
To which Bane answers in a calm and sinister tone, “Your punishment must be more severe.”
The third Batman film from director Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises, also stars Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Liam Neeson as Ra’s Al Ghul.
The new additions are Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.
The Dark Knight Rises will be in cinemas on July 20.
