Maleficent trailer #3 released, Jolie is given her wings

The third trailer for Maleficent has been released, giving eager fans another peek at the Mistress of Evil movie.

The trailer hints more at finding out about Maleficent’s backstory and her relationship with Aurora, the princess.

Tomb Raider actress Angelina Jolie is as excellently haunting as she has been in the past two trailers, giving a captivating performance as the villain.

Fans are finally shown Maleficent’s wings after she claimed ‘I had wings once, and they were stolen from me.’

We are once again shown the battle scene from the previous trailers but are shown new footage including the famous scene of Maleficent placing the curse on baby Aurora.

The film promises to be an amazing insight into the life of Maleficent as we learn about her early years as a fairy and why her heart was turned to stone, turning her into the evil mistress we all love to hate.

The film will be coming to cinemas May 30th, but for now, watch the new trailer here.
