If any film could get a trailer banned before even being released, The Hangover 2 would have been the prime suspect.

In 2009 Todd Phillip’s foul mouthed stag party hit Las Vegas, put a bullet in the forehead of political correctness and ditched the body somehwere in the Nevada desert.

Building on the success of The Hangover, Alan and co head to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding, controversy is bound to ensue.

But with the film not due to be released until May, the controversy may have come a little too soon for Warner Brothers.

The trailer for the film was aired with the release of Source Code and left many audience members heaving into their popcorn.

At the end of the trailer viewers of the PG 13 rated Source Code were treated to the scene of a domesticated monkey simulating a sex act on an elderly Thai bus passenger.

Warner Brothers have since pulled the R-rated trailer and ordered all copies to be destroyed. A new trailer has been hurriedly readied and will be aired before the upcoming Scream 4.

Back peddling quickly the studio added that, “In our haste to meet the placement schedule for this trailer, we failed to properly vet the final version with the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America).”

All that’s left for you to do is to check the video above, sit back, relax and watch some good old fashioned monkey lovin’, Hangover style.
