Legendary director Ridley Scott revealed in a recent interview that the follow-up to his classic 1982 sci-fi film Blade Runner is coming along nicely.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal he said: “I think I’m close to finding a writer that might be able to help me deliver. We’re quite a long way in, actually.”
Fans worried that the original would be tarnished with a CGI ridden reboot can come out from behind the couch, as Scott also revealed that the new film is “liable to be a sequel.”
Harrison Ford’s Deckard will not be the main focus of the film however and it will center on all-new characters.
