The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence is fast becoming one of the most likeable people in show business.

Famed for not taking Hollywood too seriously, the actress is being immortalised in pictures and memes across the internet. – and here’s some of our favorites

1) She knows how to create a good first impression.

When meeting Woody Harrelson for the first time the actress mistook his yoga swing for a sex swing.

In a star struck moment Jennifer reportedly walked into Woody Harrelson’s trailer during the filming of Hunger Games to introduce herself.

Woody said: “The first moment meeting this incredible, esteemed actress and she opens the door and is like ‘Hi Woody, I just wanted to say… is that a sex swing?!”

The actor admits that in hindsight it probably did look like a sex swing, but he assured the young actress that it was in fact for yoga.

Jennifer also wonders if her ability to make a memorable first impression could be affecting the movies she gets cast in.

She said: “I never think it’s right to chew gum in front of other people, but a lot of times I’ll come in for a meeting chewing gum. Then you don’t want to swallow it because it stays in your system for seven years or something, so I’ve asked to throw it away… I’ve started to wonder if that’s why I didn’t get certain movies.”

2) She knows how to get the most out of her career.

The young actress has only been on the scene for a few years, but she already knows how to take advantage of Hollywood.

Using dull interviews opportunities to her advantage, the Katniss actress takes the opportunity to snag herself some goodies by name dropping products with a wink and a nudge.

When asked in an interview if she had caught Jersey Shore she said in a panic, “I got it [Jersey Shore] on TiVo, calm down.” quickly adding “TiVo needs to give me three new TiVos now, because I’ve talked about it at almost every interview. And ever since Spanx at the Oscars, I know how this works.”

At the Oscars the actress scored a box of Spanx after she admitted that she doubles up on them ‘Beyonce style’.

3) She’s still Jenny from the block

The actress has rocketed to fame, appearing in Xmen: First Class and Hunger Games. But she is not letting it go to her head.

Jennifer has been quoted talking about a range of topics on the red carpet including peeing, ordering at McDonalds and humping squirrels.

In her refreshingly honest answers Lawrance never tries to hide who she is. In a recent interview she admitted, “If I don’t have anything to do all day, I might not even put my pants on.”

She is also one of few Hollywood actresses who isn’t ruled by a fitness regime. “I hate saying, ‘I like exercising’ — I want to punch people who say that.”

4) She’s a smooth talker

This year at the Oscars the actress was told by Jack Nicholson, who is three times her age, that she ‘looked like an old girlfriend.’

In a fangirl moment Lawrence was caught on camera flirting back with the acting legend, asking “Do I look like a new girlfriend?”

Nicholson replied “I thought about it” before floating back into the crowd with his trademark grin leaving Jennifer awestruck.

5) She’s adorably awkward

Part of Jennifer’s charm is her unapologetic awkwardness. From falling down at the Oscars this year to mis-pronouncing former President Bill Clinton’s name when introducing him. Somehow the actress always turn these awkward moments into charm, and that’s why we love her.

Jen doesn’t see it that way.

She said: “It’s almost like I subconsciously don’t want to work anymore, so I’m trying to ruin my career.”

In an interview with the New York Times the actress joked that she was pregnant, to pleas from her publicist to take the interview more seriously. “I found myself back to talking about orgies again in three seconds.”

In another incident at the Oscars this year, Jen fell off her chair when trying to talk to British pop sensation Adele.

She said: “I had such a high fever, and I felt like I couldn’t move, and I saw Adele, and there was nobody in the way…And I just reached my arm out and went, ‘Hi, uh—’ [Falls over.]”

No matter how socially awkward the actress appears, she can’t put a foot wrong in the publics eyes.

We will leave the list at five, but we could go on forever with reasons why we Jennifer Lawrence.
