Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill both scored Oscar nominations for their epic and often hilarious double-act in The Wolf Of Wall Street, and are set to team-up again on a new biopic.

The pair have signed on to star in an adaptation of the story of Richard Jewell, the man falsely accused of bombing the Atlanta Olympics back in 1996 for Fox Studios.

The film will be adapted from Marie Brenner’s Vanity Fair article entitled The Ballad Of Richard Jewell.

Brenner’s piece charts how Jewell was initially hailed as a hero for recovering a backpack bomb at the event, before falling under the finger of suspicion.

Hill will star as Jewell, while DiCaprio will play his lawyer friend who helped steer him through the ensuing legal nightmare.

No director or screenwriter has been appointed as yet, so no clue as to when this one might hit our screens, but it certainly sounds like an intriguing project for the duo.
