A trailer has been released for a new spy thriller film staring Colin Firth, Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson.
The trailer shows the premise to be a young troublemaker who is recruited by Colin Firth to be a Kingston, which in the film is a top secret agent.
The film seems to have a feel of James Bond and that awful Alex Rider film, although hopefully, with director Matthew Vaughn, of Layer Cake and Kick Ass fame, taking the helm, the film is in good hands.
In the trailer, villain Samuel L Jackson quips that: “I have trouble understanding you people sometimes”.
You people presumably being us Brits, and the irony stemming from the lisp Jackson seems to be sporting.
Let’s hope that with such a great cast and director this film can be something special and not a flop like Alex Rider.
