Johnny Deep, renowned for his moody, complex characters has shown his softer side and found a new way to scout extras for his films.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is hiring homeless people nearby the set of his new film, Transcendence.
A movie set insider said: “Johnny always likes to help out the community when on location.
“While scouting out the area around Albuquerque, he came across two characters.
“He was straight on the phone to the casting director.”
