Star Wars: Episode VII has added Game of Thrones actor Miltos Yerolemou to its cast.

Yerolemou is the second Thrones cast member to join JJ Abrams’s sci-fi sequel, following Gwendoline Christie.

He plays Arya Stark’s fencing tutor Syrio Forel in the HBO television series, a role which makes him a prime candidate for some lightsabre wielding in Episode VII.

John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Daisy Ridley make up the main cast of the movie.

They will be joined by original trilogy veterans Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

Episode VII recently resumed shooting at the UK-based Pinewood Studios after Ford recovered from the leg injury he sustained during filming.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released in UK cinemas on 18th December next year.
