Fantastic Four 2015 narrows Dr Doom down to four possible actors

The new Fantastic Four film has narrowed down its casting choices for villain Dr Doom to a fantastic four possible candidates: Domhnall Gleeson, Toby Kebbell, Eddie Redmayne, and Sam Riley.

The new Marvel outing already features House of Cards star Kate Mara in the role of the Invisible Woman and Tintin actor, Jamie Bell as the Thing.

Kate Mara is also known for being sister of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star, Rooney Mara.

Domhnall Gleeson is known for his work in the Harry Potter films, Toby Kebbell for his role in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Eddie Redmayne for his breakout performance in Les Misérables and Sam Riley for the biopic on Ian Curtis’s life, Control.

The reboot of the Fantastic Four is pencilled for release in summer 2015, following the Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007, which many criticised for its poor script.

The previous incarnations of the Fantastic Four featured Chris Evans in his first Marvel outing, as the Human Torch, and is now more commonly now as Captain America.
