Fans have been waiting with baited breath for the release of the first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War – anticipating who and what we will see in action as Marvel prepares to release their third Avengers movie.
Today we all let out a sigh of collective release when the trailer officially landed and then some gasps of delight as it is nothing short of EPIC!
Featuring everything fans are wanting to see and more, the trailer quickly shows off a darker tone than the previous instalments, putting an urgency upon the events that unfold.
From what we can see from the trailer, Thanos, the main villain has not collected all of the Infinity Stones just yet and is on the hunt to find them, which he will do throughout the film. In one shot we can see him attaching two stones to the Infinity Gauntlet before wreaking havoc.
It is surprising how openly the trailer is showing Black Panther’s home of Wakanda, revealing a great battle between the Avengers, the Wakandans and Thanos’s forces.
The footage highlights just how much danger the characters will be facing, with one shot showing Vision screaming while a member of the Black Order attempts to rip the Infinity Stone from his forehead.
To top it all off, we get a great look at Spider-Man’s upgraded suit as well as two new Iron Man armours, Captain America and Black Widow’s new look, the return of Doctor Strange and Wong, a human Vision with Scarlet Witch, the Hulk back on Earth, Loki clutching the Tesseract, and of course: Thor, sporting his new eye patch, coming face to face with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Arrggghhh!
The trailer has done a wonderful job of giving us something to whet our appetites, while making us more excited and thrilled that this movie is on its way.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released worldwide on 5th May 2018.
