Quirky curator Ezra Croft has come up with another tongue-in-cheek art show to follow his successful exhibition which was dedicated entirely Nicholas Cage.
“The Murray Affair” will be a one-night-only art show dedicated entirely to the great actor and comedian Bill Murray.
Ezra hopes this exhibition, which will be shown in San Francisco on August 8th, will be even more successful than his Nicholas Cage blockbuster.
The imaginative curator has rented a larger space and has a guerrilla marketing scheme which is going to paste Murray’s likenesses all over the city.
On selecting top Billing for the Ghostbusters legend he said: “I could get deeply philosophical about it, but when it comes down to brass tacks, Bill Murray is just plain fun.
“He has an iconic place in my heart and in the hearts of his fans. Murray, having played so many characters in a wide variety of movies and has such a broad catalog of facets from which to choose.
“I think this gives artists a fun and fluid dynamic to work with.”
Croft is accepting Murray-themed art submissions until 21 July.
