Opening later this year on Chavasse Park is a brand new Hampton’s style Club House with a beach bar and restaurant.

The site has been previously used for pop up beach bars and the winter attractions but the Club House will be a permanent year-round fixture in the area from now on.

It will be a 7,446 sq ft building created pavilion-style with a ‘New England, America’ theme over the two floors and terraces.

The design for the new restaurant and bar comes from the millionaire upmarket coastal Hampton homes in America, South of New York. If you’ve seen Gossip Girl, then you’ll know what I mean.

The building has capacity for 600 people, and will have a permanent grill and barbecue at the front on the first floor terrace.

This means alfresco dining on the balcony in the summer, overlooking our beautiful city.

It is also been granted that the pop-up beach we have had in the area next to Debenhams each summer will remain next to the new building in the same area of the park.

The development has been created by pub group the New World Trading Company, who are also responsible for the Smugglers Cove in the Albert Dock and also Oast House in Manchester.

The company is owned by Living Ventures, who also own Gusto at the Albert Dock and the Botanist and Alchemist brands in Manchester and other cities.

Chris Hill, Managing Director of New World Trading Company, spoke to the Liverpool Echo about the project:

“This is a really exciting time for NWTC with The Club House bringing something very new and exciting to Liverpool ONE.

“Live music every day will set the scene and the atmosphere. Teamed with tasty ‘home comfort’ food, including our signature Hanging Kebabs and an anthology of ales (over 80 beers and ciders to choose from), it will make The Club House unlike anything else in the city in a totally unique setting.”

The building of the bar is already underway and it is set to open before the end of this year.
