In Boots, you can find the Seventeen Off-The-Wall Graffiti Nail Polish Duo for £5. This includes two nail polishes in Monochrome (black glitter) and Bluetone (navy glitter) which would both look great for a New Year’s Eve party.
For Men, Superdrug is offering Old Spice Shower sets for £4 in “Swagger” and “Wolfthorn” fragrances which include both body spray and shower gel.
Don’t be put off by the slightly cringe names – they both smell amazing.
If you’re looking for something slightly more sentimental, then personalised photo gifts are the way to go. Tesco has a really good range.
Search through your ancient Facebook photos until you find one that has the perfect mix of cute yet embarrassing.
Go online to tescophoto.com or in store and put it on a magnet, bottle opener or notebook for £4.95, or get slightly more festive and put it in a snow globe for £5 or on a tree decoration for only £2.50.
Finding affordable gifts to buy for kids can also be difficult, but the Disney store has some good deals of bits and pieces for only £5 – the best of which being their toy cameras that have different character themes.
You can choose from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse or Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Of course we couldn’t leave out the highest grossing animated film in history – Frozen.
The Disney Store is selling Frozen Magical Story Book for only £3.99 and the sing-along CD for £4.99. You can decide if you buy this as a child’s gift, or for yourself to sing along to in the car.

Back to Boots again: you can buy little Matchbox games cards for £4 each.
Choose from “Bizarre Trivia”, “The Great Debate” or “Quick Fire Quiz” which would all be perfect for in-between courses on Christmas day.
