Brought to you by the owners of Lucha Libre and Berry and Rye, Miyagi on Bold Street are set to stun guests by extending the brand upstairs in the magnificent former Yums building due to the massive success of the first 14 months in business.
Serving popular Japanese soul food classics in a stunning setting, its’ no surprise the restaurant and brand are going from strength to strength.
Miyagi have been operating the restaurant downstairs and utilising the upstairs area for private
parties, but due to increasing demand, have revamped the whole of upstairs in fitting with
downstairs decor, to accommodate even more hungry guests.
Dave Roche waxes lyrical:
“A lot of guests who come to Miyagi like to pre-book which means we are increasingly pushed for
space to seat our walk in guests, extending the restaurant upstairs offers a perfect solution for us,
it looks really amazing up there’
Guests can expect to be sampling small and tasty plate cuisine such as tiger prawn tempura, nori and wasabi popcorn, green tea noodle salad or tuna tataki pizza. Large plate meals such as Jerk
slow cooked lamb shoulder, sriracha grilled tofu or glazed pork belly washed down with a super
slick cocktail such as ghetto geisha or Miyagi sour.
As well as their Bold Street offer, Miyagi have now opened a second restaurant in Allerton, where local residents are already giving rave reviews and they are enjoying full tables most nights.
