“It falls on a Saturday this year so we created a luxurious food lovers menu that can be enjoyed by couples, families or groups so that no one is left sitting in at home!

“I’ve noticed over the years that our special valentines menu has been booked by parties of four or six so this year we thought we’d simply make the message clear. The ambitious menu represents great value and I’m sure will be enjoyed by all.”

Taking place exclusively on Saturday February 14, Fonseca’s on Stanley Street will spoil couples that want a more intimate private dining experience.

The romantic dinner for two will be welcomed with a glass of Perrier Jouet champagne before diving into a shared starter platters. After cleansing their palates with a Kir Royale Sorbet, diners can then choose from a range of mains including Fonseca’s Individual Welsh Black Beef Fillet Wellington; Pan Fried Fillet of Sea Bass with Spicy Vermicelli, Wilted Pak Choi and Crispy Carrot, as well as Caramelised Onion and Flaked Almond Mille-Feuille with Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Buttered Green Beans and Dark Rum Jus.

Diners can then enjoy a sweet filled dessert-sharing platter consisting of Hot Melting Chocolate Pot with Dipping Treats; Mixed Berry Frangipane and Raspberry Delice, together with Mort Subite Kriek Cherry Beer.

Candice said: “As always we want to go the extra mile for our guests to make their dining experience both special and memorable.

“Stanley Street’s gorgeous little vintage downstairs bar sets the tone of the evening and we hope that by combining good food with a welcoming ambience, diners will fall in love all over again.”

For those that like to do their Valentine’s loving in private or simply can’t find a babysitter Delifonseca once again is providing their ever popular Valentine’s at Home meal for two.

This menu provides a restaurant quality shared starter platter and shared dessert platter along with a choice of main courses.
