Firaxis has announced a new XCOM game, currently a PC exclusive, due for release this November. It will be a direct sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, taking place 20 years after the events of the first game.

Details regarding the plot are minimal however it appears a team of specialists attempting to overthrow aliens whom have established rule on Earth. Two major aspects will be procedural levels and, of course, mod support. More details are expected to be divulged at this year’s E3.

Good news for Dragon Age: Inquisition fans as Mike Laidlaw, creative director, tweeted, “We’re not quite done with story content for DAI just yet.” He also confirmed, when asked, that Hero of Ferelden, Dragon Age: Origins protagonists, would not be a part of the DLC.

The next installment in the Natsume’s Harvest Moon series will be called Seeds of Memories. The farming RPG will be available on PC, Wii U, iOS and Android with an expected release date at some point this winter.

Nintendo has added to the widely praised Splatoon, the ‘family friendly shooter’, with an array of new contents including; a new Port Mackerel map, a new multiplayer mode similar to King of the Hill, ranked matches and finally a new gun called N-Zap ’85 which is a striking resemblance to the old NES Zapper light run.

Though still awaiting official confirmation, more information regarding Destiny’s upcoming expansion has been surfaced online.

This time both Destiny logo and ‘The Taken King’ has been spotted on a Red Bull Energy drinks campaign. Given this title has been previously linked with Destiny many commentators now assume it to be the official name of the DLC. More information is expected at this year’s E3.

Fallout 4 has been officially confirmed with a trailer dropping this afternoon. The trailer confirms the on-going rumour that the game is set in Boston.

In it, viewers observe the Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere’s statue, the Bunker Hill Monument and the USS Constitution all within a post-apocalyptic context. It is unconfirmed what time period Fallout 4 is set within.

Finally the trailer also reveals players will have a companion dog. Currently there is not release date but, attempting not to appear like a broken record, Bethesda has confirmed more details will be given at E3. Please stand by.

I am Bread, the indie wherein you play as a slice of bread attempting to reach a toaster across various levels, is coming to PS4 this summer.

Unchartered: The Nathan Drake Collection will be ready for UK shelves 9 October 2015. The collection is headed by Bluepoint Games and includes; Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2:

Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in full 1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, model and granted access to the beta of Unchartered 4 online multiplayer.

Since Disney acquired Lucasfilm the company stated any film, TV series and game under their name will be canon. The latest example of this message is now in the form of Star Wars: Uprising, a new free-to-play mobile game set after the events of the original film trilogy.

Developed by Kabam the game will be a new, original story that takes place within familiar locations of the Anoat Sector such as; Hoth and Cloud City. Player will create their own character to control Aaron Loeb, Kabam executive, describes Uprising as a dungeon crawler, with game levels to search for equipment and enemies to defeat via gesture-based combat.
