Liverpool’s Writing On the Wall are launching a new project known as Write to Work, to help unemployed people into work and further training through the medium of the written word.

“Writing on the Wall are delighted to have been awarded funding by the European Social Fund (ESF) to deliver their exciting and innovative project Write to Work. The course is set to help unemployed learners find ways to create income or generate pathways for development within the writing sector. Looking at creative writing, marketing, writing for gaming & social media to name but a few, learners will then publish their work into anthology to help raise their profile.’ Emma Hulme – Project Manager WoW
Write to Work is an innovative, free new project from WoW that is aimed to help unemployed learners focus on forms of writing that can lead to employment and further training.
Do you enjoy writing and want to find ways to make that into a career? Have you ever wanted to learn new skills surrounding marketing and writing for publicity? Love video games and what to find routes into writing for gaming?
Working alongside published writers and industry professionals Writing on the Wall are offering dynamic weekly sessions, over 12-weeks, that will help you develop the skills to find employment, training or further education within the writing sector and beyond.
With an emphasis on creative writing, social media, writing for gaming, blogging and copywriting & marketing the course will improve key writing skills, confidence and at the end of each 12-week course each learner shall publish some of their work into a printed publication.
Write to Work will reimburse travel costs, provide lunch on day and can cover child care costs for a limited number of children
