The Interesting Eating Company is set to mark Thanksgiving Day with the help of some of its much-loved dishes.
Already well known for its speciality American inspired pancakes, the eatery will launch seasonally themed Turkey, Bacon & Cranberry Sauce Pancakes on Thursday, November 26, which will be served throughout the festive period.
Director of The Interesting Eating Company Nichola Lee said: “As many of the items on our menus, such as waffles and shakes, are directly inspired by traditional American sweet and savoury foodstuffs, it felt only right to commemorate the US holiday.
“Time and time again, our customers tell us how much they enjoy our range of pancakes, so they were the obvious ideal base for the seasonal treat. Our limited edition Turkey, Bacon & Cranberry Sauce Pancakes make for a delicious breakfast or lunchtime snack, and we are also serving up classic American Bacon and Maple Syrup Pancakes for those who are looking for an all-encompassing Stateside experience.”
With locations in the bustling Liverpool ONE and Allerton Road, The Interesting Eating Company is renowned across Liverpool for its expansive pancake offering available all year round. Its wide-ranging menu includes savoury options such as Chicken and Creamy Mushroom, Smoked Salmon with Rocket and Cream Cheese and Roasted Vegetables and Sun Dried Tomatoes.
For those with a sweet tooth, the innovative eatery also serves up its speciality in flavours including Banana and Toffee, Peanut Butter and Simply Lemon and Sugar. Children are also encouraged to get creative and are given the option to decorate their own pancake using a selection of their favourite toppings and sauces.
Fellow Director Andrea Edwards added: “Aside from our popular pancake menu, we serve up a selection of other treats with a nod to the States such as our indulgent waffles – whereby our homemade batter is freshly made each morning to offer maximum taste.
“To top it all off, our dishes can be washed down with one of our shakes, made with the flavours of favourite chocolate bars including Snickers, Daim Bar and Oreo. We also encourage our customers to suggest some new flavours and allow them to devise their very own unique combinations – one of which that we have found to be genius is banana and Crunchy, which pays homage to the classic Banoffee dessert.”
