The creators of South Park have revealed they were given a signed photo of Saddam Hussein after the toppled Iraqi leader was shown their movie in prison.

During his captivity, US marines forced Saddam to repeatedly watch the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut, which shows him as gay, and enjoying sex with the devil.

The admission comes as they look back at the show’s high-lights ahead of celebrating the show’s 12 birthday this month.

Stone, 37, and college pal Trey Parker, 39, started the show with just a handful of fart gags but it has gone on to become a global phenonomon to rival The Simpsons.

Recently they have taken a swipe at Tom Cruise for being gay and shown Barack Obama using his Presidential victory as a way to steal jewels from Washington.

But Matt said they’re most proud of the signed Saddam photo, given to them by the US Army’s 4th Infantry Division.

He said: “We’re very proud of our signed Saddam picture and what it means. Its one of our biggest high-lights.

“I have it on pretty good information from the marines on detail in Iraq that they showed Sadam the movie.

“Over and over again – which is a pretty funny thought.

“That’s really adding insult to injury.”
