Snoop Dogg’s son Correll has been offered a football scholarship to the prestigious California institute of higher learning UCLA.

It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise though as sports mad Snoop coaches and plays basketball and American Football, even coaching a high school football team in his spare time.

Diamond Bar High School first tweeted that their sophomore wide receiver Correll Broadus had been offered a football scholarship by UCLA, but it went largely unnoticed.

Until Bruins fans paid a closer look at that last name. Broadus, which is the real last name of his famous father: Snoop Dogg.

It’s still early days of course. Broadus is a sophomore, after all, and there is no word on whether he is even contemplating accepting the offer.

If he accepts the offer and one day makes the team, Broadus can be a teammate of Justin Comb, the son of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is expected to play defensive back for the Bruins next season.

Snoop Dogg is a USC fan and is often spotted at practices and games. Is this just a gambit by the Bruins to boost their celebrity quotient by luring Snoop Dogg to their games?
