4 great live bands in store from 2:00pm, all with major label interest. See below:
The Naturals – Awesomely loud yet bittersweet, The Naturals put the rock back into post-rock by mixing lush indie choruses with tidal waves of distortion. (hmyspace.com/naturalsmusic)
SJ Esau – Anticon Records finest one man band, where experimental hip-hop meets angular indie noise. (sjesau.co.uk)
Isola – Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, always beautiful. Isola build monolithic soundscapes that tug on the heartstrings. (facebook.com/isolaband)
Squeeze Me Macaroni – “A tantric, one-woman post rock machine. When she let’s rip it’s truly unsettling.” (Venue Magazine) Or: One girl plus one massive pedal board making quirky shoegaze noise. (soundcloud.com/squeeze-me-macaroni)
– We will also be producing a Head RSD goody bag to sell, which will contain some RSD samplers and a cd of the day’s featured bands, plus tracks from the staff’s bands.
– We will also be selling raffle tickets to win some RSD rarities, with the proceeds going to the NSPCC.
– The whole day will be supported by local magazines/fanzines/newspapers.
