Here at Purple Revolver HQ, we’re excited to reveal that shooting is now under way for a special documentary for Bay TV Liverpool called Scouse Proud.
The four part documentary will examine life in Liverpool over the past 40 years and try to get to the heart of how the city’s fortunes have fallen and rapidly risen during that time and how that shapes what it means to be a Scouser in 2015.
Purple Revolver is a creative company, which amongst other things publishes this news site, but we also boast a TV production arm and we’d like you to get involved in making this show with us.
Filming took place last week at Voodou, where the staff discussed what they enjoyed about working at the top hair salon at the heart of Bold Street.
Have you got a story to tell? It could be a Liverpool legend or as simple as your best night out in the city. We want to speak to you and you could end up Being in the show.
We’ll be filming at Voodou again soon. So get in touch if you want to get involved. Hit us up at shots@purplerevolver.com
Liverpool has regained it’s title as a world class city, partly because there is so much to do here.
With a dazzling array of vibrant and independent restaurants that allow you to enjoy food from all around the world, such as Nolita Cantina and Lucha Libre. More and more new eateries seem to be popping up all the times.
We’re reaching out to some of the great indie businesses based in the city, these businesses are a major part of Liverpool’s creative renaissance.
Can you recommend a creative business, which has played a part in putting Liverpool back on the map? Get in touch and let us know that we should be covering them.
There is so much to love here in the city of Liverpool, and this 4 part documentary will show you just why each and every one of us here should be… Scouse Proud.
