IS TROPICAL have returned to form with their latest XXX rated video, so 90s Calvin Klein meets Red Hot Mums, which is surely too rude for You Tube. Or are we getting over sensitive?
Lies is helmed by Jonathan Leder, the creative director of Jaques, described as ‘America’s new luxury erotic magazine’ and is released on Halloween, October, 31.
The band, who play The Masque, Liverpool tonight, are back with a stunning new visual treat to follow-up their legendary video for recent single The Greeks.
Lies is the third single to be lifted from the band’s debut album Native to which was released in June this year.
Formed in 2009, IS TROPICAL, consisting of Gary Barber, Vocals/Guitar/ keys, Simon Milner, Vocals/Guitars/Keys and Dominic Apa, Drums, have developed a worldwide reputation for their stunning live shows.
Taking to the stage in their trademark masks, and cloaked by self-made video projections, the trio improvise constantly, changing soundscapes, effortlessly swooping from raw pop anthems to lo-fi dance songs with fantastic results.
To coincide with the new single the band are hitting Bristol and London after Liverpool.
The three-piece wind up the dates with their last London show of the year at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on the 4th of October.
After these dates the band will be heading out to Europe and to the US for their first American tour.
In addition to their regular releases, IS TROPICAL have become famed for their mixtapes. Listen to their latest mix here:
