Half term is officially here and rolled into this year is Halloween! We took a stroll around a peaceful Liverpool One to see what toys and treats we’d be fleeced for while the cash lay safe in our pockets.

Lego has fully embraced Halloween and brought out some affordable treats with build-your-own Halloween figures. Witches hats, skeleton bodies and zombie faces overflow from the boxes where kids (or even bigger kids) can build three Lego figures for £4.99….and they even come in a little carry case.

One Lego fan built a zombie army and NFL player/slayer while we were in store….just for the fun of it! We went home with three Vampire Slayers, A witch and two skeleton zombies. Yep, totally for kids.

If squishy is more your thing, Build-A-Bear also have a great range of stuff-your-own Halloween bears and a huge selection of costumes and accessories. From cute Werewolves to Bats and Zombies, chuck in a pumpkin scented disc and you’ve got Halloween all sewn up! Bear prices from £16.50 and wigs and costumes from just £3.

Claire’s Accessories is a stalwart of all things spooky! Masks, cat tails, ears, brooms….you name it Claire’s has got it with sequins on! Save some cash by updating last year’s costume with Spider Web tights £6 and some Topshop ghoulish nail wraps for £3.

Good luck out there folks…..we hear there’s a Zombie invasion risk on Friday!
