Bold Street Coffee became an unofficial hangout for the city’s homegrown and visiting creative talent during Liverpool Sound City.
Delegates and artists sought inspiration and energy in a cup of Liverpool’s best coffee during the hectic showcase, which saw 300 bands play in three days.
Amongst the musicians we spotted enjoying a master brew were Ian Svenonius and James Canti of punk royalty Chain And The Gang, Liverpool’s Stealing Sheep, Canadian indie rockers Winter Gloves, troubadour Luke Fenlon and rising country and blues star Delta Maid.
Bold Street Coffee chief Sam Tawil said the shop enjoyed its busiest trading period during the festival since opening last year.
He said: “We’ve had our busiest weekend so far in the shop with Sound City.
“It’s been buzzing and there’s been a great atmosphere with new and friendly faces popping in throughout the festival.”
