It’s that time again, ACBA image of the week time!
We’ve featured Star Wars several times now, it appears to be a very popular franchise for ACBA artists, the artist this week?, Michael Whisman!
Stormtroopers (of course) and Kylo Ren are the subjects in this image.
As you’re aware by now, we like to reach out and ask these artists for their inspiration behind their chosen images, this week, Michael had the following to say:
“I woke up on Force Friday and was super excited about the new movie and figures. It hadn’t really hit me until then, but I went to Target when they opened and bought the wave of Black Series figures. I haven’t put the figures down since then.”
“In this particular shot I wanted to try out some new Cutout effects I had made. In particular the red blasts and smoke clouds. So I tried to make it look like the First Order was under attack with Kylo Ren deflecting a blast and a Stormtrooper getting blasted back. I’m pretty happy with how it came out.”
Very cool image indeed as we feature each and every week here on Purple Revolver.
