2015 went by so fast, we’ve now swung right into 2016.

Happy New Year!

It’s time for our first ACBA image of 2016. We’re bringing you Spidey himself, Spider-Man.

This shot comes to us from Seth Fowler AKA Black Lantern, we thought this was an awesome shot and thought it would be great to use kick off the year.

We reached out to Seth to find out what inspired this shot and how it came together. This is what he told us:

“I saw some great Spidey flying poses, especially one from @public_enema, that inspired me to create my own.”

“I used the new Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider-Man with open hand from the Marvel Select Amazing Spiderman 2 movie Spidey. I actually superglued the Marvel Select hand to the figure (temporarily) to get the shot.”

“As for how the shot was taken, I took the shot sideways, I call it vertical photography. I laid the dio flat against the table and poked a tiny hole through it. I then ran a metal wire through the hole to hold Spidey suspended in mid air. I then natural lighting with a little flashlight shined on Spidey.”

We’d like to thank Seth for letting us feature this brilliant shot this week.

If you love this and would love to check out more of Black Lantern’s work, he is on Instagram @blacklantrn.

Thanks again Seth, and thanks to all of you for reading.

Until next time, Goodbye.
