Once again it is time for our ACBA image of the week.

We’re bringing Spidey back again in a rooftop panel shot by J. Flores.

The action packed battle between Spider-Man and Kraven is featured here.

We reached out to J for some great insight into how this shot came together, this is what he told us:

“I called this Panel scene “Rooftop Hunting”. My inspiration for this scene is I really love the storyline and history between Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter. I wanted to capture Kraven’s ambition to finally Kill his most elusive Prey, Spider-Man. Even if its Hunting him in Spidey’s own environment. And Of course failing again.”

“I used Hasbro’s Amazing pizza Spiderman vs Hasbro’s Kraven. I used a roof top diorama made by Eric Aguilar. This is made from pink insulation foam. The “swing effect” you see in the second panel was inspired by fellow ACBA artist Al Chang. This uses the plastic from a Hasbro Marvel Legends action figure box.”

“What you try to capture in a good panel shot is a nice flow throughout each panel to explain your scene. Something like what you would see in an actual Comic Book. Posing is always the most important aspect of any ACBA shot.”

We’d love to thank J for letting us feature this epic shot this week, if you’d like to check out more of his work, you can follow him on Instagram @diamond_figures.

Thanks again J and thank you for reading.

Until next time, Goodbye.
