They call themselves the Guardians of The Galaxy. The guardians of what?
You should know them by know. They have their own Marvel movie and a well established comic series from the 1960s.
We chose this week’s ACBA image of the week depicting Guardians Of the Galaxy, the image was created by Jeremy Lee.
When asked for his inspiration for this creation, he had the following to say:
“I made this picture after reading “Guardians Disassembled” trade paperback, and just received the Entertainment Earth Exclusives Guardians of The Galaxy set. The idea comes from the cover of Guardians of The Galaxy #14 (2013) which have them composed in almost the same position as my picture.”
“At that time, since the EE exclusive had been out, no one had done a cover style picture for the set. I figured that somebody had to do it, and if nobody is going to do it, I was going to take that unique opportunity. I only used Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot from the set. I replaced Star Lord with the newer costume version that we got from the movie figure, and added Captain Marvel and Agent Venom.”
