Comic lovers and geeks are coming together all across the world as Captain America: Civil War hit the cinemas this past weekend.
No spoilers here, though we will say that we’re Team Cap all the way.
We’re back with another ACBA image of the week for you, showcasing some of the best artists here at Purple Revolver.
This week, we have Tommy Saltz aka Kiddsidekick.
Captain America is the focus this week and we reached out to Tommy to find about a bit more on how this brilliant battle shot came together, and this is what he told us:
“This shot was inspired by my son, Kidsidekick jr.”
We’re getting very jazzed up for the new movie each day. I caught him messing with my minimates shelf and he showed me something I didn’t realize I had, an almost complete Civil War cast in minimates form. So I sent him to his room and started playing with them myself.”
“I also had just gotten a new Nikon camera and wanted to give it a test. Out came this shot.”
Brilliant shot, really captures the epic nature of the new Captain America flick.
